Quilts on Etsy

Hi All, since I have been recuperating from surgery and receiving chemo I have not been able to work. So I have been making quilts. I have decided to put them on Etsy to see if they will sell.
My etsy shop is quiltfun50 if anyone wants to view the quilts. The sales of the quilts will help pay for my medical needs.

I am Back!!!!

Hi Blog world. I am back from my pelvic surgery to rid my body of cancer. YAY!!!! Now, I am beginning chemotherapy. BOOOOOO. No - if it helps eliminate cancer I am all for it.
My first chemo session was June 16and 17th. It is now June 30th and my hair is beginning to fall out in clumps. My sweet daughter is at CAMP KESEM. I hope she is having a wonderful time. As you know CAMP KESEM is a free summer camp for kids with parents who have cancer. My hubby said there were about 7-10 girls in her group of campers. He also said parents of returnees said the camp was a blessing for their families. We hope to concur. Thank you to all of you out there who donated to CAMP KESEM in the past. We are grateful.

I have done a little scrapbooking to catch up and I have done a little quilting as a way to comfort my soul.

I am a little tired right now so I am off to take a nap. It is good to be back in blog world. cindy

Spring Angel -completed WISP in March

I finished this Spring Angel for my daughter. She wanted a spring wall-hanging to brighten the home. I really enjoyed placing the beads on the flowers. Thanks for looking.

Finland Swap partner

Hi, I mailed my swap partner's parcel on March 5th and she notified me that she received it on March 13th. Yay!!! So it doesn't take very long to get there from USA. I am so glad she has enjoyed her Spring goodies.

What my future holds??

Hi all, I just want to let folks in blogland know that my cancer surgery is finally scheduled for March 31st. After that I am to stay in the hospital for 3-4 weeks then it is said that I will take an additional 6-9 months to full recovery. I hope the third time is the charm for stomping out my cancer bugs. If anyone remembers please stomp out cancer on March 31st whereever you are to send me the message that you are also wanting to get rid of cancer while my surgeons are getting rid of mine. Let's designate March 31st as other Stomp Out Cancer Day. Let me know what activities you planned while you stomped....
